Christmas in the Skywalker-family
Leia had just finished decorating the christmas-tree when her brother, Luke, came in the door. Drinking from his blue milk-bottle.
"All that blue milk," he said, "wiping his mouth, "Bringing joy to my heart."
Leia finally sat the star on the top of the tree, as one last piece. Then stood for a moment, enjoing her finished work. On her way down from the ladder, she asked her brother,
"What do you think, Luke?"
Luke looked up upon the christmas-tree,
"Its beautiful, my sister." noticing the glowing star on top that Leia had just put on, "But you made a mistake, twin." streching out his arm, and using the force to pull the star off.
"Whats that?" Leia asked, before noticing the star going slowly down from the tree, in the direction of Luke's outstreched hand. "Hey, what are you doing?"
"Everyone knows that the star should be under the tree."
"What?" now also streching out her arm, using the force to hinder the star from coming into Luke's hand.
The object stopped in mid-air, caught between the two of them.
"You're wrong, Luke." she snapped, "I've never heard such a thing. You're only making it all up. Now let go of the star."
"Sister, sister..."
"Don't sister me." Leia angrily said, "Just give me the star, so that I can set it back on the tree. We have to start preparing the dinner before our parents come home."
"You and your funny ideas." Luke just said, not listening to her. Some cracking-sound was heard from the star as it was about to be destroyed,
"You are ruining the star, brother." Leia said.
"No, you're the one who's doing it."
"Just give me..." the object began to show some cracks, before it broke apart in two, each of the half pieces, going into each of the siblings hands.
Leias face went white with shock before turning red,
"Now see what you have done, Luke." her brother took a sip from his bottle, exclaiming,
"This is all your fault, Leia."
"My fault?"
"Yeah, if you have just listened to me in the first place, none of this would've happened. Now the star is broke because of you."
Leia snarled as she went down from the ladder, and slapped him hard in the face,
"The star is to shine for everyone to see. It shall not hide under the tree." she then went to her room and slammed the door behind her. Leaving Luke standing there beneath the tree, with the broken star-piece in his hand. He took a sip from his bottle, saying calmly to himself,
"All that blue milk... all that blue milk..." Just then, the out-door went up, and Anakin and Padme came in.
Luke turned to greet them,
"Hi father, hi mum." hiding the broken piece behind his back.
"Hi, son." Anakin said firmly, stroking him over the head, "Where's Leia?"
"In her room, dad."
"Okay."
Padme looked upon the tree, then wrinkled her brow,
"Something is missing."
Anaking followed her gaze,
"I can see that too." he turned to Luke again, "Son? Can you get the star, please?"
"The star?" he took a few steps back, his pan beginning to sweat as he got warm all over his face, "Eh, sure, dad." he hurried away to Leia's room, while hiding the broken piece away from Anakin's eyes. He opened the door and went in. Closing it behind him.
His twin-sister sat at her desk, with her back to him,
"Sister." he said in panick, "We got a problem."
"Leave me alone."
In the kitchen, Anakin and Padme started to prepare for the dinner when they saw that it weren't done.
"What do you think, my love?" Padme asked, setting the meat in the owen.
"This is going to be splendid, my dear." cutting up some vegetables, "The best christmas ever."
"I agree." kissing him on the cheek.
A knock came on the door, and Padme went to open.
Outside stood Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano, dressed in their finery.
"Welcome, welcome." Padme happily said, "Please come in. The dinner is soon to be served."
"Thank you." Ahsoka said, following after Obi-Wan inside. The two sat down on the couch, and Padme sat down with them,
"Anakin is in the kitchen preparing the food." she said, before shouthing, "Is the table set, my dear?"
"Just a moment." Anakin shouted back, before beginning to use the force to get things on the table that stood just outside the kitchen, visible for the guests on the couch.
Plates, glases and cutlery, went flying through the air from the cabinets and drawers before reaching the table.
Obi-Wan slowly shaked his head as he saw the way his former padawan did it,
"Anakin..." he said with a sigh.
Padme just sat with a smile on her face, enjoing the show of her husband. As did Ahsoka to.
Just then, Luke and Leia came out of the bedroom,
"Smells good." it came from the twinbrother. Leia pushed him in the side,
"Concentrate on what to say." she wispered.
Anakin turned and smiled to them,
"Just in time, kids."
Luke sighed, his head down,
"There's something I need to tell you, dad."
"And what's that?" his arms crossing over his chest.
"We... we got no star... not anymore."
"No... no star?" his expression on his face turning dark.
Padme took the hint, and immediately went up from the couch,
"Time for dinner, everyone." she clapped her hands, "Time to joing in for a good christmas-meal."
Obi-Wan and Ahsoka slowly got up from the couch and followed after Padme to the table to sit down.
Luke stood with a sorrow in his face as he looked upon his father, who had halfway turned away from him, with his eyebrow bending down, as if he was in deep thought,
"We broke it, father. I'm sorry."
"You broke the star?" turning to him again.
"We both did." it came from Leia, "We didn't agreed where to put it."
Anakin sighed hard,
"There's only one place it shall be... On the top of the tree."
"I know." Leia chimed in, "But..."
Anakin put his hands on their shoulders,
"We have to deal with this later." his face softened, "Now, let's eat." the three joining the others at the table.
